AKC Puppy Star Group Class - 7 Weeks Saturdays at 10:30am Dates: February 28th, March 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, April 4th, 11th At Willow Creek Dog Training, we combine our Puppy Group Class with the AKC Puppy S.T.A.R. Program to help you and your puppy become the best team possible. This unique 7 week program gives both you and your puppy the foundation needed for a lifetime of success. Week 1 Owner Only Orientation- The first week is all about you. This session is held without your puppy so we can focus on how dogs learn effective training techniques and how to set your puppy up for success at home. You will leave with clear tools and a plan to begin training immediately. Weeks 2 through 6 With Your Puppy - Hands on training focused on: -Socialization and confidence building -Potty training and crate training -Basic obedience including sit down come and leash walking -Good manners including no jumping no biting and polite greetings Week 7 AKC Puppy STAR Evaluation: Your puppy will complete the official AKC Puppy S.T.A.R. test and can earn their first AKC recognition. You will not find another puppy class like this. We go beyond basic commands to build confidence shape well mannered companions and give owners the tools needed for long term success at home.
