Your first lesson is all about getting started with your dog(s) and building a strong foundation.
Below is some helpful information to get you started.

Ask About Children:
We love involving kids when appropriate, but our priority is giving the dog(s) our full attention.
-Children under the age of 5 are not permitted at Willow Creek's Location

Reschedule If:
Your or anyone in your household has been sick in the past 7 days.
Your dog becomes sick, has fleas, or showing signs of a contagious condition. This includes vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, lethargy, eye or nasal discharge, or any suspected illness or injury.

Do Not Feed Your Dog(s) At Least 3 Hours Prior To Your Lesson.

Let Your Trainer Know Of Any Allergies / Food Restrictions.
Have/Bring:

Your Dog(s) on a 4-6ft Leash: (No Flexis)

High Value Treats:
Example boiled or baked chicken, turkey meatballs or hotdogs (Please do not just bring dry treats.)

Training Treat Pouch:
You can get them on amazon, any pet store, or use a nail apron.

Bring any training collars or tools you use such as Slip leash, prong collar...etc

Lesson Details:
Duration: 60 mins.
Certain services or multiple dogs may have a longer time.
Frequency: weekly or bi-weekly
Number Of Lessons: Typically 3-6 for Basic Obedience. Custom Lessons plans available.

Child Policy:
Children under the age of 5 are not permitted on the property.
Children ages 6 -13 may attend only with prior approval from the trainer.

Arrive At Least 5 Mins Early:
So we can begin on time.

Parking:
Park parallel to the house in the driveway. (Grass is used for overflow parking only)

Upon Arrival Send a Text
Stay in your car until the trainer is ready for you.

Keep Your Dog On a Leash.
For safety have your dog on a leash before exiting your car and keep your dog leashed unless advised otherwise.
In Home Private Lessons:

Kids under the age of 12 want to be involved in the training.
This allows us to plan for future lessons.

Please secure any other animals on your property.

Parking:
Please let the trainer know if there are any particular places your want her to park.

Travel Fees:
All In-Home or Custom Location Lessons 45 Minutes Outside Winters Mountain Road, Dahlonega Will Have an Additional Travel Fee.
The trainer will let you know when confirming your lesson if the fee applies to you.
E-Collar Lessons:

Reactive Dog Lessons:

Fearful, Reactive, Anxious / Behavioral Modification Lessons Please Read:
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations or Reschedules must be made at least 2 hours in advance to avoid a $35 fee.
If you are more than 15 minutes late without contacting the trainer, your lesson will be canceled and the $55 "No Show" fee will be applied.
We understand that things happen, but please cancel or reschedule as soon as possible.
Reminders:
The Trainer will send a confirmation text the day before your lesson. If the lesson is not comfirmed at least 1.5 hours prior to the scheduled time, it may be canceled.
