Private Lessons

At Willow Creek Dog Training, we offer customized, one on one training designed to create real, lasting results. Each program is tailored to your dog’s behavior, your goals, and your lifestyle.

Whether you’re working on basic obedience or more complex behavioral issues, our focus is on clear communication, consistency, and building a strong relationship between you and your dog.

A Personalized Approach

Every training plan is designed specifically for you and your dog.

Your first session is a combination of a detailed consultation and hands on training. We take the time to understand your dog’s history, behavior, and any challenges you’re facing, then immediately begin implementing a structured training plan. This allows you to start seeing progress from day one.

Training That Works in Real Life

Our goal is not just a dog that listens during training, but a dog that listens at home, in public, and in everyday situations.

Training Sessions Are Structured To:

  • Build clear, reliable communication

  • Create consistent behavior at home

  • Prepare your dog for real-world environments

Owner Coaching & Support

A well trained dog starts with clear leadership.

A key part of our program is coaching you, the owner, so you feel confident handling your dog outside of lessons.

You’ll Learn How To:

  • Communicate effectively

  • Apply training techniques correctly

  • Reinforce behaviors consistently

This is what creates long-term success.

Ongoing Progress

Training is a process, not a one time event.

Follow up sessions build on your dog’s progress, introduce new challenges, and refine behaviors as your dog improves. Each session is adjusted to keep you moving forward.

We work with behaviors such as reactivity, fear, anxiety, excessive barking, jumping, and other unwanted habits that impact daily life.

Training Behavior modification focuses on long term change, not quick fixes. By addressing the root of the behavior and building a clear, consistent system, you create lasting results that improve your dog’s quality of life and your day to day experience together.

All behavior modification programs begin with an initial behavioral consultation.

This session includes both evaluation and hands on training. We assess your dog, discuss history, identify triggers, and begin implementing a structured training plan tailored to your dog and your goals.

Follow-Up Lessons (60 minutes):

Ongoing sessions focus on building new behaviors, improving reliability, and progressing toward real life results.

Behavior Modification For Agressive Dogs

At Willow Creek Dog Training, we understand that aggression is a serious and complex behavior issue. Whether your dog has growled, snapped, lunged, or bitten, we offer private, one-on-one training tailored to help manage and modify aggressive behavior in a safe and controlled environment.

Who These Lessons Are For:

  • Dogs with a known bite history (human or animal)

  • Dogs showing aggression (bite attempts)  toward people, dogs, or other animals

  • Dogs displaying fear-based or territorial aggression

  • Cases involving extreme resource guarding or protective behavior

  • Dogs that attack other animals or dogs in the house, and do not let go

What to Expect:

  • The first session is a behavioral consultation and assessment, where we review your dog’s full history, observe behavior, and identify triggers.

  • A custom behavior modification plan will be developed, focusing on safety, structure, and realistic goals.

  • Sessions are conducted in a way that prioritizes everyone’s safety—including the trainer, the dog, and your family.

Important Information:

  • Full disclosure is required. You must inform us of any and all aggressive incidents and known triggers before training begins.

  • Muzzle conditioning may be recommended or required depending on your dog’s history. We will provide you with step-by-step guidance if needed.

  • Dogs should always be secured (on leash, harness, or in a crate), and must remain safely restrained until directed otherwise.

  • We do not guarantee a “cure” for aggression, but we can help you manage, reduce, and understand your dog’s behavior with the right tools and consistency.

Liability & Safety Policy:

  • All clients must sign a behavioral liability waiver prior to beginning training.

  • Owners are responsible for their dog’s actions at all times, even during training sessions.
