Basic Obedience Group Class: 5 Weeks Ages: 9 Months+ (Any Age Welcome!) Saturdays at 11:15am - 12:15pm Dates: Sept. 19th, 26th, Oct. 3th, 10th, 17th Rain Date: Oct. 24th Location: 8493 Dawsonville Hwy, Dawsonville Small Class Sizes: Max. 7 Dogs Per Class Week 1 Is Without Dogs: The first week is owner only and will cover important foundation topics including: • Understanding canine behavior • Establishing clear communication • Setting realistic training goals • Proper training techniques • The importance of consistency and patience This prepares owners to confidently guide their dogs through the upcoming classes for a successful learning experience. Commands & Skills We Will Teach: • Focus • Place • Drop It • Leave It • Wait • Stay • Heel • Here • Focus & Engagement • Proper leash handling + owner confidence • Building calmness and neutrality around distractions Other: •Dog Body Language • Toys + Proper Play + Lots More! This class is designed to strengthen the relationship between you and your dog while building reliable obedience skills in real-world environments. Weekend Class Pricing One Dog: $225 Repeat Students: $199 (those who have taken our basic obedience before. Must be the same dog) Two Dogs:$400 Deposit Policy A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of sign up. Deposits may be transferred to another service or class if you reschedule at least 1 week prior to the class start date. If canceled, the deposit remains non-refundable. Reminder Texts You will receive a reminder text the day prior to class from 770-625-1521. A Private Lesson Prior to Class is Recommended If: • Your dog does not know basic commands such as sit or down • Your dog is an extreme puller on leash • Your dog struggles to focus around distractions • Your dog becomes overly excited around people or dogs • You have difficulty handling your dog in public settings A Private Lesson Prior to Class is Required If: • Your dog is reactive toward people or dogs (barking, lunging, growling, snapping, etc.) • Your dog has shown aggressive behaviors • Your dog cannot safely be handled around other dogs or people • Your dog has little to no socialization experience • You are unsure how your dog will react around strangers or new dogs Additional Information • This class is held outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather. • A designated rain date will be used in the event of severe weather.
